Watson Solar House -- SMA Monitoring Perl Scripts

The following files can be used to monitor the output from the Sunnyboy inverters using Perl. I use these scripts to monitor the output of the PV panels on our solar house.

Latest software release date is: Fri Oct 24 23:54:43 EDT 2008

• sma_scripts.tar.gz -- Gzip'd tar file containing all of the following files.
• NOTES.txt -- Text file description of these files.
• plot.pl -- CGI program which reads from the SQL database and draws the graphs.
• plot.shtml -- Example wrapper html file to go around plot.cgi.
• postgres.txt -- Script to configure the database with the proper tables and fields.
• sma.pl -- The script which monitors the SMA inverters.
• smadat-11-ze2203.pdf -- Session protocol documentation from SMA in English.
• swrnet_session_protocol.pdf -- Another session protocol documentation from SMA in English.
• transactions.log -- The sma.pl script has a -v (verbose) and -V (very_verbose) options. This is a capture of my startup output and 2 polls with the -V verbose option enabled.
• transactions_raw.tar.gz -- Tar.gz file of binary transactions that were sent to and from one of my SMA units.
