Help With Email Forwarding

Use the following instructions to configure email forwarding on your domains so that mail sent to a 256domains.com domain will be retransmitted to another address.

1. Log into http://256domains.com/
2. Click on the 'Domains' link in the left-side navigation section.
3. Click on 'My Domains' link in the left-side navigation section.
4. Click on the domain name you want to edit.
5. In the 'DNS Servers' section, click on the 'Change Service' button.
6. Select 'Our DNS Servers'.
7. Click the 'Save Changes' button.
8. In the 'Email Settings' section, click on the 'Change Service' button.
9. Select the 'Email Forwarding' choice and click the 'Save Changes' button.
10. This should take you to the 'Configure Email Settings' page. If not then in the 'Email Settings' section, click on the 'Configure' button.
11. Enter the username for your domain on the left and the destination email address on the right. See this email documentation for examples. You can also send the same address to multiple people or multiple addresses to the same destination email box.
12. When you are done you can click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the screen.
13. If you need more email forwarding slots then after saving your initial 8, you can press 'configure' again and you should have additional slots.
